Community Partner Programs
Gift for a Child could not do its work without the support of child welfare and other social service organizations in Georgia, Mississippi and Tennessee. Our state agency partners include city, county, state and federal child welfare agencies and departments; private adoption agencies, hospitals; health providers; mental health providers; community development groups; service societies; parents groups; youth-serving agencies; child and family welfare coalitions; and scores of other agencies, businesses, church groups, professional associations, task forces and volunteers.

Corporate Partner Programs
Gift for a Child relies on the support of volunteers to help make a difference in the lives of children. Volunteerism is a key component of many companies' philanthropic and community affairs programs. Corporate volunteerism can be a triple win when you support Gift for a Child programs: helping children  in the foster care system while giving employees a chance to shine and benefiting the company in numerous ways as they watch the lives of the children improve. Our growing group of volunteers is  represented by volunteers from major corporations in the Southeast including  financial institutions, public relations firms, advertising agencies, education institutions and consumer products/services organizations.

Photography Partner Programs
Gift for a Child is supported by a number of nationally recognized photographers. Local photographers, members of national photographic associations and other photojournalists volunteer their time and talent by taking pictures of children waiting to be adopted in Georgina, Mississippi, Tennessee and across the Southeast.  Participating photographers work with Gift for a Child to produce professional, artistic portraits of children available for adoption. The portraits become part of a mobile exhibit called the Heart Gallery designed to recruit prospective adoptive families.

Faith based Partner Programs
Gift for a Child partners with the faith based community to help develop programs and to educate their members regarding the great need to support orphans who cannot be or have not been adopted, but still need to be cared for and in hope of a family, a home and a future.  Whenever possible, presentations are made during regularly scheduled weekend services. Additionally, depending upon availability, a Heart Gallery Exhibit of children in need can be placed on display.
